Community TV Proposal ends.

Today, I'm announcing that the Community TV Proposal aspect of
Television Shepparton will come to an end. Sadly, there was little support in the Shepparton community for the proposal, and while a few people became Facebook supporters, no volunteers were willing to help work on the project. Sadly, it seems that the "volunteer spirit" of the community is starting to disappear for long term projects like this.

Realising that I am facing an "uphill battle" with very little public support & the prospect of having to fight the Federal Government to allow even just a test transmission to happen, it is time to withdraw. Without any help, I can't do this on my own.

Thank you to the few people who expressed support for the idea, but without actual volunteers, the proposal has gone as far as it can go.
At some stage, the www.shepparton.tv site will relaunch as a site for the future Shepparton TV Museum, where we will profile the preserved items, and write a bit about the history of TV in Shepparton.
